Happy dia de Pavo.

I know I haven’t posted in awhile, but I’ve been super busy, and I DO have stories to share. I just wanted to send out a lil thanksgiving post to tell all my friends and family back home that I miss them very much. I love and miss my family very much. Although I do love it down here I wish I could be in Dearborn, Michigan with my family.

So what does Ben miss most about Thanksgiving with his family?

• Listening to "Alice's Restaurant" on the drive to Michigan

• Lying on the couch watching the Lions lose

• Playing with Cal

• Getting a “smooch sandwich” at some point from Auntie Debbie and Papa, and
pretending not to like it

• Annoying Joce, Mom, or Nana by bear hugging them excessively

• Checking my fantasy football team (oh wait, just did)

• Helping carry chairs, “table leaves”, big pots of chicken noodle soup,
stuffed cabbages, turkey, and mashed potatoes from the basement and kitchen

• Sneaking tastes of turkey, cranberry sauce and the pies

• Running downstairs to get coke or pepsi for everyone

• Listening to Nana yell at Papa to get out of her way and then mom yelling at
Nana to sit down and eat already (Auntie Debbie and I would probably be
laughing during this time)

• Stuffing (pun intended) down food

• Listening to the family bicker over something that lacks significance

• Stuffing down seconds

• Passing out while watching more football

• Dessert

• Lounging around watching TV, talking, enjoying company

• Ice cream with Papa/Round 2 of desserts.

ps my intent was to get someone to cry during this blog either because of their missing me or through laughter. If that didnt work, these pictures might suffice. heh heh heh
